Nada dering ternyata merupakan porsi yang cukup besar dari semua pembelian musik untuk pengguna tertentu. Lebih anehnya, selain kemauan mereka untuk menghabiskan uang demi nada dering, orang-orang itu bahkan berlangganan majalah mengenai nada dering.

Majalah itu disebut The Ringtones Magazine.

Hal ini mengherankan banyak orang dari berbagai lapisan. Namun, cukup jelas bahwa kita semakin membeli apa yang kita inginkan, bukan yang kita perlukan.

Keju Feta

Beberapa hari yang lalu, saya membeli 3 jenis keju: light cream cheese, ricotta, dan fetah in olive oil. Ketiganya buatan Yummy.

Saya biasa membeli light cream cheese. Kejunya tawar dan bertekstur lembut. Saya suka menggunakannya untuk olesan roti panggang atau cracker.

Siang ini, saya mencoba untuk membuat salad yang menggunakan keju feta. Resepnya aku lihat dari situs ini. Ternyata cara membuatnya gampang dan cepat :)

Damn!! Gue suka jenis buku kayak gitu: petualangan.

Gue sih belum pernah lihat bukunya, baru masuk situsnya. Dan, ya, harus gue akui gue sangat tertarik. These adventures series Hmmmmm... I blame Beni for this!

Like i said, i haven't seen the book. Beni bilang jilid satu 39 clues english edition dijual dengan harga Rp 140.000, dan tentunya--seperti buku petualangan laris lain, 39 clues akan diterbitkan dalam lebih dari satu jilid. Bahkan dalam salah situs berita, Rick Riordan, penulis 39 clues, berencana untuk menyelesaikan cerita petualangan itu dalam 10 jilid. Well... Rima... It's your choice! Semoga isinya benar-benar menarik.

I had my own guests coming by!

I just had a visit from my colleagues! Isn't it amazing? Well, it is amazing for me because i hadn't had friends that live nearby until recently, until i work at this private elementary school just 15 minutes away from my house by riding motorcycle.

And i must admit that, yes, having guests at home means that having rahmah or blessings to you and your home. I haven't really understood that until now.

Having guests means that you can have some laughs and soothing moments. This condition can only be established if and only if both sides, the guests and the hosts, behave in good manners as Rasulullah has taught us how.

Ketika Lebaran Tak (lagi) Dihargai

Apa arti Idul Fitri bagimu?
Apakah hanya sekedar liburan?
Apakah itu berarti hari merayakan izin makan sepuasnya?

Lebaran tahun ini lebih bermakna bagiku daripada Lebaran tahun-tahun sebelumnya karena ia berarti penanda keberhasilanku dalam mencapai target Ramadhan yang baru saja aku lampaui. Targetku sendiri bukanlah sesuatu yang muluk, bahkan aku sendiri merasa malu untuk menuliskannya di sini. Anyway, it wasn't executed very well before, but, at recent Ramadhan, it was succesfully established. I'm very proud of myself.


Hari ini, ketika aku melewatkan detik-detik Lebaran terbaikku, i was surprised by how people surround me carried out this (supposed to be) beautiful day. They still chose their own ego: lebih memilih untuk tidak datang ke tempat silaturahim yang jaraknya hanya beberapa menit menggunakan angkot (the angkot itself beroperasi hari ini serta lewat depan rumahnya) hanya karena saudaranya lupa menjemputnya dan ada seseorang yang tidak ia sukai hadir di sana; memilih untuk memperumit masalah yang (sebenarnya) bisa dibuat sangat-sangat sederhana.


Tidakkah Ramadhan dan puasa telah mengajarkan sesuatu kepadamu?
Setidaknya, keduanya mengajarkanmu akan arti bersabar dan menahan diri.
Setidaknya, Lebaran memperlihatkan mulianya memaafkan orang lain.

Although my life hadn't been always smooth and wonderful, it makes me the way i am today and it makes me feel great!

I think the most luxurious thing in the world is the ability and the humbleness of willing to learn from anyone. Intelligence cannot just be given from school, it can only be earnt by hardworking, and it's definitely illinear with someone's scholar degree.

Being Home Alone...

My parents, and my sisters, aren't home until the next few days . And, what am i doing? being the laziest person in the world!!!

• I left my curtains opened at daylight and turned off all the lights. (it's ecofriendly by the way, you should try it)
• I procrastinated my work-tasks, and those butterflies in my belly kept alarming me about the troubles i could get if i fail finishing them.
• I washed some of my laundry and dried them, but i left them on my living room all day long.
• I forgot to put out my garbage for 3 day. (thank God, most of the them was dry)
• I built my new home theater (I picked the best gadgets around the house and put them and arranged them in my parents' room--the only bedroom who has king sized bed).
• I bought and watched a lot of DVDs, I even cursed some of them because they're so... uggghhhh.
• I eat frequently... on the bed.
• I wore socks while sleeping at night (and it felt sooooo comfy).
• I only drank orange juice, because my mouth was sour.
• I left my own room messy like a closet, and i wasn't proud of it.

You should try being home alone one at a time... it's like experiencing another new you!

My New Telkomsel Flash Connection

Kemarin pagi, sambil mengganti kartuHalo-ku yang hilang, aku juga mendaftar program Telkomsel Flash, unlimited volume based125rb/bln (katanya), dan mencoba menggunakan hape GPRS. Sebelum memulai koneksi, setting sudah diperiksa (biar gak tertukar dengan perhitungan time based ato koneksi GPRS biasa). Tapi... masih aja ada rasa gak tenang. Iseng-iseng aku cek pemakaian terakhir lewat *887*, ternyata aku dapat balasan yang menyatakan bahwa pemakaian terakhirku adalah koneksi GPRS sebesar 458kB senilai Rp 5496. Itu artinya aku masih menggunakan tarif Rp12/kB!! Is it true?
